This is Destiny
Delivered by Feadship in the summer of 2026, Destiny stretches over 100 metres of restrained, flowing lines. A project kept remarkably private until she left the Dutch yard.
History
Known during construction under the yard name Project 1014, Destiny began building in early 2023 at Feadship's facilities in Makkum, the Netherlands. The yacht remained highly secretive throughout her build, having only been sighted a handful of times, including when she entered the outfitting sheds in November 2024. She was launched on 1 April 2026, beginning a programme of sea trials from May onward. Delivery to her owner followed in July 2026, after which she departed the Netherlands and called at Poole, in the United Kingdom, en route to Gibraltar.
Design
Destiny measures 101.2 metres in length with a beam of just over 15 metres and a draught of 4.3 metres. Her steel hull and aluminium superstructure were shaped for a long, controlled profile, with smooth lines running uninterrupted from bow to stern. A dark navy-blue hull contrasts with a white superstructure, while large sculpted hull windows, cut deep into the sides, animate the surface without breaking the overall flow. Naval architecture was developed by Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture, with exterior design entrusted to British studio RWD.
Interiors
Destiny's interior, which remains undisclosed, was developed by RWD in collaboration with Parisian studio Chahan Interior Design. This pairing of a British studio known for exterior volumes with a French house specialising in interior atmospheres points to a deliberate continuity between the yacht's outward form and her onboard character. Her internal volume is estimated at around 3,840 gross tons, placing Destiny among the largest yachts delivered to date by the Dutch builder. No further details on deck layout have been released by the yard.
