Founded in 1949, Feadship is a premier Dutch alliance in custom yacht building. The group designs superyachts renowned for their precision engineering.
History
Naval architect Henri de Voogt initiated the alliance in 1949. It brought together several shipyards to promote Dutch craftsmanship internationally. Two historic yards form its core today, Royal Van Lent and Koninklijke De Vries. The design firm De Voogt Naval Architects oversees the naval architecture for all projects. The group made its international debut at the 1951 New York Boat Show. It now operates four modern construction facilities in Aalsmeer, Makkum, Kaag, and Amsterdam.
Craftsmanship
Feadship designs every vessel fully custom from a blank sheet of paper. The shipyard excels in steel and aluminum hull construction. Its engineering teams integrate advanced solutions to optimize nautical performance. Specialized craftsmen deliver meticulous cabinetry and interior finishing.
