Based in Liguria, Mondomarine is an Italian shipyard renowned for constructing aluminum and steel superyachts. The house combines sporty silhouettes, precise naval engineering, and bold styling.
History
The yard traces its maritime origins back to 1915 in Savona under the name Campanella before the formal creation of Mondomarine in 1978. The Italian builder gradually specialized in the custom superyacht sector. Over the decades, the company enhanced its technical facilities to produce displacement and semi-displacement vessels. The brand was later incorporated into the Palumbo Superyachts portfolio to preserve its naval heritage. Today, the historic Savona shipyard continues its longstanding tradition of custom yacht building.
Craftsmanship
Mondomarine craftsmanship centers on light alloy aluminum and steel construction to optimize performance. The shipyard frequently collaborates with prominent designers, including Luca Dini and Cor D. Rover. Each build balances sleek exterior lines with meticulous layout planning and acoustic comfort. Engineers focus on hydrodynamics and structural integrity to deliver speed without compromising stability. Bespoke interior tailoring reflects the high standards of Italian artisanal production.
