History
The yard originally focused on building small wooden vessels. In 1949, the company played a key role in forming the Feadship consortium to export Dutch expertise. The shipyard was granted its Royal warrant in 2001 upon celebrating its 150th anniversary. It later expanded its industrial capacity by opening a large-scale facility in Amsterdam's port district. Today, operations are conducted between the historic Kaag Island site and this modern assembly facility.
